Book Club: The Big Love

Erg. I'm so disappointed in myself. I borrowed The Big Love from Shash, so I wouldn't have to buy a trashy beach novel. (Yeah, thanks a lot for picking a trashy book. Book Club is supposed to EXPAND your mind, not drop your IQ 10000000 points...) Anyway, I'm disappointed because...


...I like it. I'm only a chapter or two in, but it's fun. Quirky. Real life meets EDS in someone else's novel. Drat. And here I swore not to enjoy it.

But this is ok, because I'm sure the beach read will be balanced by The Three Musketeers and Reverte-Perez's The Fencing Master (next book club book, guys. Take note!)

That's really all I have to say right now. Mixing pleasure and intellect in Book Club may not be all that bad. I look forward to the next two vacuous chapters.
